Lighting consumes 19% of global electricity, according to the international energy
Leolightdesign helps in tackling the global energy and climate change challenge and
provides sustainable lighting designs using environmental friendly lighting technologies
that reduce carbon dioxide emission.
Changing to energy efficient lighting technology can save at least 38% of the global
lighting energy consumption. The international energy agency estimates that these
savings equal to 9.3 EJ/year and 1.2 GtCO²/year by 2030.
Energy Efficiency Scheme starts in April 2010
Energy Efficiency Scheme formerly known as the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)
is the UK’s mandatory climate change and energy saving scheme, starting in April
2010. It has been designed to raise awareness, improve energy efficiency and reduce
carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) within our environment.
Leolightdesign provides energy efficient lighting designs specifying environmental
friendly lighting products to create green lighting design solutions for commercial
and residential lighting design projects
